Our Curriculum

At Clover Hill Early Learning Center, we believe joyful, child-led learning lays the foundation for lifelong success. Our play-based curriculum is built around the award-winning Creative Curriculum, aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning Developmental Standards, and enriched by real-world experiences and hands-on exploration.

Your child’s day includes:

Nature-inspired play and outdoor discovery

Children explore the outdoors, engage with natural materials, and enjoy fresh air while building physical coordination and a connection with the environment.

Social-emotional development

Activities that foster emotional intelligence, self-regulation, cooperation, and confidence, all through music, stories, and group play.

Weekly STEM themes, language lessons, and early literacy activities

Integrated lessons introduce science, technology, math, and language in fun, age-appropriate ways.

Real-world Guest experience

(musicians, medics, firefighters, animals & more!)

Real-world learning is brought to life through exciting, educational visits from community professionals and furry friends.

Social-Emotional Activities and school readiness programs

Children learn about global traditions, environmental care, and the routines of kindergarten to develop empathy and confidence in their next steps.

From infants to preschoolers, we scaffold learning based on your child’s interests, abilities, and pace, ensuring they feel confident and capable every step of the way.

With consistent caregivers, children experience smoother transitions and stronger attachments for personalized care.

Older Toddler Class

(2–3 years)

Designed as a transitional room before preschool, this class blends exploratory learning with emerging independence. The space is divided into hands-on learning centers, including science, art, dramatic play, math, and sensory areas. Toddlers also begin adapting to structured routines and shared group experiences.

Preschool Class

(3–5 years)

Rooted in hands-on learning, our preschool program encourages self-expression, sensory exploration, and creativity. Teachers build lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum and Ohio’s Early Learning Standards, integrating literacy, STEM, and play into everyday learning. Formal assessments and family conferences track progress and prepare children for kindergarten.

Every room is thoughtfully set up to support your child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
