As a family-focused, community-driven resale shop, we make it our mission to support families through the fast-paced stages of childhood, offering a warm and welcoming space to shop, sell, and connect. Whether you're looking for gently used children’s clothing, toys, books, or other necessities, you’ll find carefully chosen items with a story, from one family to another.
Clothing sizes NB - Youth 14/16 (x-large), condition of clothing items must be gently used, free of stains, marks, threads, rips and tears. All items should be freshly cleaned and laundered. These items must never have been exposed to smoke and free of pet hair.
Preferred Brands - Old Navy, Gap Kids, Carter’s, OshKosh B’Gosh, The Children’s Place, Cat & Jack, Athletic Brands, Carhartt, Crewcuts, & Boutique Brands - Hanna Anderson, Mini Boden, Janie and Jack, Tea Collection, Posh Peanut, Dream Big Little, Kyte, etc.
Shoes sizes NB - youth 6, shoes should be freshly cleaned including bottoms, paired together neatly and laces tied.
Underwear and socks must be new in an unopened package.
Children’s books are to be free of writing/coloring marks and ripped or missing pages, no broken binding.
Toys including small outdoor toys must be clean and in like new condition with all the parts and pieces including batteries as necessary.
Puzzles must be clean, gently used, no peeling or bent corners and include all pieces.
Clean and current baby gear/equipment such as pack-n-plays, strollers, bouncers, door jumpers, gyms, & activity seats. Please call ahead to make sure we are able to accept your items based on the space available in our store.
Bottles, diapers, wipes and lotions/creams must be new in the unopened package.
Receiving blankets, crib sheets, throws, cloth diapers, bibs & burp cloths may be accepted in like-new condition. No stains/loose strings/rips.
Infant and toddler furniture such as high chairs & boosters, changing tables, toddler beds, bassinets, toy boxes and larger outdoor toys. These items will be accepted as long as space allows. All items must be in like new condition. No chipped wood/paint/plastic. No marks/dents, no plastic fading. Please call ahead to make sure we are able to accept your items based on the space available in our store.
All gear, equipment, furniture and toys must have all the pieces and be in good working condition. Must meet all current safety standards and free from recall.
Clothing with any stains, holes, tears, multiple loose threads, missing snaps/buttons, broken zippers, too much wear (very faded or piled), or too dated (styles should be within the last 3-4 years).
Items with any pet hair, smoke or other unpleasant odors.
Car seats, infant carriers, mattresses, cribs, most plush toys, most bedding, underwear (unless brand new in unopened package/box).
Baby food and baby formula.
Feeding items - sippy cups, eating utensils, bowls/plates, cups, water bottles, lunchboxes, used baby bottles, & used breast pumps.
Hair accessories- clips, hair ties, etc.
Backpacks, cinch sacks, diaper bags.
Maternity clothing.
Damaged or recalled items (please check for recalls before bringing your items in at www.cpsc.gov).
Toys, equipment, gear, furniture in less than like-new condition and missing parts and/or missing batteries. No dirty/stained, ripped, broken/dented missing pieces items will be accepted.
No toys with weapons, considered “scary” will be accepted.
We accept items anytime during our open store hours.
Clothing items must be neatly placed with coordinating pieces one on top of the other in a tote, firm box, basket, or reusable bag. All the buttons, snaps and zippers should be buttoned, snapped and zipped.
Clothing will not be accepted in a plastic/trash bag.
Any items we cannot use will be returned to you as “No Thank Yous” or NTY’s.
Items will be selected that we think our customers will buy. There will be items that we cannot select. Please understand that our customers’ preferences will determine our selection guidelines. Please see above for the list of preferred brands.
Sign in on the intake form to acknowledge that you understand the drop off procedure and policies. Print your first and last name, date, phone number, address and the number of totes/boxes/reusable bags you are dropping off.
Label each tote/box/reusable bag on a sticker (these will be provided at intake) with your printed first and last name.
We ask you to give us up to 24 hours (or maybe sooner) to review your items and process them into our preliminary inventory (known as a presort). After you check in your items for presort, you are free to leave.
You have 2 days to pick up your NTY’s. Any items left after 2 days will become store property to be used or donated at our discretion.
After your presort has been completed, all the items we don’t keep will be returned back to you. Items that we keep will be entered into the computer.
You will receive a text indicating a bulk cash offer or you may choose to earn 15% more by taking in-store credit. You will be asked to give verbal consent to the offer so that we may complete the processing of your items. Once consent has been given, your items will be processed and considered property of Clover Kids. Once processing begins, items cannot be unprocessed.
After 2 days if we do not hear back from you regarding the offer. You will automatically receive store credit for your items so that we can begin processing them.
If you do not accept our offer and want to reclaim your items, you will need to pick them up within 2 days. Items unclaimed after 2 days will be donated. We cannot store your NTY’s at our store longer than 2 days due to limited space.
If you do not receive a text from us within 2 business days, please call us at 567-215-0199 to make sure we texted your correct working phone number. If we are unable to text or call your phone, then you are responsible to reach out to us within 2 business days. If we do not hear from you, we will consider your items a donation to our store.
Store credit offers will be held in our system for 1 year (without activity). You may return at your convenience to shop and use your store credit.
If you choose to donate your items instead of receiving store credit or cash back, we will gratefully accept them based upon the above criteria so that we ensure to provide our families with high-quality items at affordable prices. We always appreciate donations that are made to our store and thank you greatly for helping us to continue our mission.
